GAI Economics Institute on the Digital Economy for Competition Enforcement Officials
Sunday, October 21 to Wednesday, October 24, 2018
The Economics Institute on the Digital Economy for Competition Enforcement Officials is a three-day seminar designed to build an understanding of the economic foundations of antitrust and competition law as they apply to digital markets. We will address topics including network effect, multi-sided platforms, big data and barriers to entry, defining platform markets, algorithmic pricing and detecting collusion, exclusionary conduct, intellectual property, privacy, and more. The program is designed for international regulatory or competition enforcers who regularly deal with antitrust and competition issues and presumes no prior economics background.
